Step-by-Step Instructions
- Create a New Product in Shopify
- Go to Shopify Admin > Products > Add product.
- This product will be used to represent the additional COD fee.
- Set the Product Title to Match the COD Fee Name
- Enter a product title that exactly matches the name of your COD fee in the Releasit app.
- Hide the Product From All Sales Channels
- Under the Publishing section, click Manage, then uncheck all sales channels so the product is not visible on your store.
- Set the Price to Match the COD Fee
- Make sure the product price matches the fee amount you've configured in Releasit.
- Disable Inventory Tracking and Add a SKU
- Uncheck “Track quantity” under Inventory and assign a unique SKU to the product.
- Save the Product
- Click Save to finalize the product setup.
- Retrieve the Product JSON
- In your browser, open the product page in your Shopify admin. At the end of the URL, add `.json
`
- Example:
https://yourstore.myshopify.com/admin/products/1234567890.json
- Then press Enter.
- Share the JSON With Releasit Support
- Copy all the content from the browser page and send it to Releasit support via the in-app chat or support contact.
- Wait for Confirmation
- Once you've sent the data, the support team will link the SKU product to your COD fee in the app.
