# How to Assign a SKU to the Additional COD Fee in Releasit

If you want to track your additional Cash on Delivery (COD) fee as a product using a SKU in Shopify, this guide explains how to set it up and share the information with Releasit support so they can link it to your fee.



### Step-by-Step Instructions

1. **Create a New Product in Shopify**

* Go to **Shopify Admin > Products > Add product.**
* This product will be used to represent the additional COD fee.

2. **Set the Product Title to Match the COD Fee Name**

* Enter a product title that exactly matches the name of your COD fee in the Releasit app.

3. **Hide the Product From All Sales Channels**

* Under the **Publishing** section, click **Manage**, then uncheck all sales channels so the product is not visible on your store.

4. **Set the Price to Match the COD Fee**

* Make sure the product price matches the fee amount you've configured in Releasit.

5. **Disable Inventory Tracking and Add a SKU**

* Uncheck “**Track quantity**” under Inventory and assign a unique SKU to the product.

6. **Save the Product**

* Click Save to finalize the product setup.

7. **Retrieve the Product JSON**

* In your browser, open the product page in your **Shopify admin**. At the end of the URL, add  `.json
`
* **Example:**

`https://yourstore.myshopify.com/admin/products/1234567890.json`

* Then press **Enter**.

8. **Share the JSON With Releasit Support**

* Copy all the content from the browser page and send it to Releasit support via the in-app chat or support contact.

9. **Wait for Confirmation**

* Once you've sent the data, the support team will link the SKU product to your COD fee in the app.
