How to Configure Google Ads Tracking in Releasit

Setting up Google Ads tracking in Releasit allows you to measure the effectiveness of your advertising campaigns by tracking purchase events. This guide will walk you through configuring Google Ads conversion tracking and integrating it with Releasit COD Form.

Step 1: Open the Google Ads Conversion Settings



Log in to your Google Ads account.
Click on Tools and Settings in the top navigation bar.






Step 2: Create a New Conversion Action



Under Measurement, click on Conversions.






Click on New Conversion Action and select Website.






Step 3: Configure Your Website for Tracking



Enter your store’s domain and click Scan.
Click Save and Continue.






Scroll down and select Add a conversion action manually.






Step 4: Set Up the Conversion Action



Use the following configuration:
Category: Purchase
Conversion Name: Enter a name that identifies the purchase event
Value: Choose whether to assign a fixed value or track actual order values
Count: Select Every to count all purchase events
Click Done.










Click Save and Continue.






Step 5: Copy the Event Snippet Code



Click See Event Snippet.






Click Copy to copy the event snippet code.






Step 6: Add the Event Snippet to Releasit



Open the Releasit app.
Navigate to Settings & Integrations and select Pixels.






Click Add Item and select Google Ads.






Paste the copied event snippet into the required field.
Enter your Google Ads ID and Conversion Tag.
Click Save to apply the tracking configuration.






Step 7: Verify Tracking is Working



Complete a test purchase on your store.
Check Google Ads Conversion Reports to confirm that the event is being tracked.
If the event does not appear, allow 24-48 hours for data to be processed.
