# How to Enable the TikTok Events API in Releasit

The TikTok Events API allows you to send conversion data directly from your store to TikTok, improving ad tracking and attribution. This is particularly useful for Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, where standard browser-based tracking may not capture all events accurately.

This guide explains how to enable and configure the TikTok Events API in the Releasit app.

### Step 1: Open the Analytics Settings in Releasit

1. Open the **Releasit** app.
2. Navigate to the **Settings & Integrations **section.
3. Click on the **Pixels** page.

### Step 2: Add the TikTok Events API

1. Click **Add Item** to open the list of available tracking integrations.
2. Select **TikTok Events API **from the options.

### Step 3: Access TikTok Ads Manager and Generate an Access Token

1. Open **TikTok Ads Manager**.
2. Navigate to the ** Events **section.
3. Click on **Manage for Web Events** to access your pixel settings.

### Step 4: Open Your TikTok Pixel Settings

1. Select your **TikTok Pixel **in the **Events Manager**.
2. Go to the **Settings** tab.

### Step 5: Generate an Access Token

1. Scroll down to the ** Events API** section.
2. Click on **Generate Access Token**.

### Step 6: Connect Your TikTok Pixel to Releasit

1. Copy your **Pixel ID** and ** Access Token** from TikTok.
2. Return to the **Releasit** app.
3. Paste the **Pixel ID** and **Access Token** into the designated fields.
4. Click **Save** to complete the setup.

### Step 7: Verify the TikTok Events API Connection

* After saving your settings, test a purchase event on your store.
* Check TikTok Events Manager to confirm that events are being sent via the Events API.
* If events do not appear, double-check that your Pixel ID and Access Token are correct.
