How to Fix Variant or Quantity Offers Not Passing to the COD Form (Kaching, YMQ, Shopify Variants)
If you're using Kaching Bundles, YMQ, or Shopify Variants and notice that variant selections or quantity offers aren’t being passed into the Releasit COD Form, you're likely dealing with a theme integration issue.
Follow this guide to troubleshoot and resolve the problem so your product options are correctly sent to the form.
The variant selector or quantity selector is missing from your product template.
The Releasit Button block is added separately instead of integrating with your theme’s native Buy Button.
You’re using a bundles or variant app that overrides Shopify’s selectors.
Before you begin, make sure you have access to:
Theme
Theme code
Settings
Apps
Products
You may need to request collaborator access if you're assisting a merchant.
Go to your Online Store > Themes and click Customize on your current theme.
Open the Product template used by the affected product.
Make sure that both the variant selector and quantity selector are present and visible in the template.
If you’re using Kaching Bundles, these elements must be active in the theme. You can also insert test code from the “Custom Codes” section of Releasit to validate.
If you added the Releasit Button block manually in the theme editor, remove or hide it.
Use the existing Buy Button or Add to Cart button from your theme.
Make sure the product form and variant logic are tied to Shopify’s default structure — our app relies on this structure to pull product data.
If your theme doesn’t include a native Buy or ATC button, you can safely remove those blocks using the app’s layout controls to maintain a clean design.

If you're using a variant app or quantity offer app:
These often override Shopify’s selectors — and the form may still work fine.
If issues appear, try hiding the variant or quantity blocks using the eye icon in the theme editor.
Save and test again.
⚠️ If variants still don’t pass correctly, escalate the case to our support team.
Make sure the product you're testing uses the correct template — the one you just updated.
🔁 Best practice: once the fix works on one product, apply it across all templates to avoid future issues.
Kaching uses automatic discounts to handle quantity offers. To ensure everything works:
Open the Kaching app settings
Make sure Automatic Discounts are enabled
