# How to activate the feature in your store

### Step 1: Make sure the Release Cash On Delivery app is active in your store.

### Step 2: Next, go to the OTP Verification section within the app.
* Here you'll see the new **WhatsApp Verification** option.
* Activate it using the button on the right.

* Once activated, you'll be able to customize the style of the checkout modal to match your store's theme and colors.

### Step 3: Configure your OTP verification via WhatsApp as you like

1. First, you'll see your **account balance**, where you can top up your balance at any time. We're also giving you **$1.00 in free credits** to try out the feature right now.
**Note:** It's important to keep in mind that if your balance runs out and you have no available credits, verification **will automatically stop working.**

2. If you'd like to receive a notification when your balance is low, you can **add your phone number.**
3. You can also activate the **Persistent Verification** option. With this feature, once a customer verifies their number, they won't need to do so again for 7 days. This improves the shopping experience for returning customers, and for security reasons, verification will be required after that period.
