How to Add a SKU to the Additional COD Fee in Releasit
Adding a Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) to your Cash on Delivery (COD) fee in Releasit allows you to track it as a separate product in Shopify. This is useful for accounting, reporting, and ensuring that the COD fee is properly recorded in your store’s system.
This guide walks you through the steps to create a SKU for your COD fee and integrate it with Releasit COD Form.
Open Shopify Admin Panel.
Go to Products and click Add Product.

In the Product Title field, enter the same name as your COD Fee in Releasit.

Since this product is only used for tracking, it should not be visible to customers.
Scroll to the Publishing section.
Click Manage.
Disable the product from all sales channels.

Enter the same price as your COD fee in Releasit.

Scroll to the Inventory section.
Disable inventory tracking (since this is a fee, not a physical product).
Add your SKU for tracking purposes.

Click Save to finalize the product setup.

Open the product page in Shopify.
In your browser address bar, add ".json" at the end of the product URL.
Press Enter on your keyboard.

Copy the entire text that appears on the page.
Contact Releasit support and provide the copied text.
