How to Add a WhatsApp Button to the COD Form

Adding a WhatsApp button to your Cash on Delivery (COD) form allows customers to contact you directly for inquiries, support, or order confirmation. This feature enhances customer interaction and can help reduce abandoned orders by providing instant communication.

This guide will walk you through the steps to add and customize a WhatsApp button on the COD form.

Step 1: Open the Form Designer



Open the Releasit app.
Navigate to the Form Designer page.






Step 2: Add a Custom Field for the WhatsApp Button



Scroll down in the Form Designer settings.
Click on "Add a custom field or text" to open additional customization options.






Step 3: Insert the WhatsApp Button



Select the option to add a WhatsApp button.
The button will be added to your COD form layout.






Step 4: Customize the WhatsApp Button



Adjust the button text, color, and position to match your store’s design.
Add your WhatsApp phone number, so customers can reach you directly.
Customize the message template that customers will send when they click the button.






Click Save to apply the changes.



Step 5: Test the WhatsApp Button



Open your store and navigate to the COD form.
Locate the newly added WhatsApp button.
Click the button and ensure it redirects to WhatsApp with the correct message template.
If the button is not appearing or functioning correctly, refresh the page or clear your cache.
