How to apply Templates in the Form Designer
The Templates feature lets you apply pre-built form shape designs with one click, so you can quickly change the look of your form without starting from scratch. Once applied, you can still customize everything (colors, spacing, borders, etc.) as usual.
Templates work for both Popup and Embedded form types.
NOTE
Some templates are Premium-only. If you’re on the Free plan, advanced templates will appear locked with an upgrade prompt.
Step 1: Open the Form Designer
- Open the app.
- Go to Form Designer.
- Inside the designer, you’ll now see a Templates tab/section.

Step 2: Browse Available Templates
In the Templates section, you’ll see two types of templates:
- Free templates (Basic shapes): Available to all merchants
Examples: standard rectangular, rounded corners, minimal
- Premium templates (Advanced shapes): Available only on Premium plan and above
Examples: modern/branded shapes, custom layouts, split-form designs
If you’re on the Free plan, Premium templates will show a lock icon and an upgrade message.

Step 3: Apply a Template (One Click)
- Click on any template you want to use.
- The template will be applied immediately to your form.
- You’ll see the update instantly in the live preview (no extra steps needed).

Step 4: Customize After Applying
After the template is applied, you can continue editing it normally, for example:
- Adjust borders and corner radius
- Change spacing/padding
- Update colors and typography
- Modify layout details (depending on template)
Templates are a starting point — you’re not locked into the design.

Step 5: Test on Popup and Embedded Forms
Templates are compatible with both form types:
- Popup forms: Apply a template and preview how it looks as a popup
- Embedded forms: Apply a template and preview it embedded on a page
Make sure to preview the form in the mode you’re using.
Step 6: Save Your Changes
Once you’re happy with the template + customizations:
- Click Save
- Check your store to confirm the updated form design is displaying correctly.
