How to Block Specific IP Addresses from Placing Orders

Blocking certain IP addresses can help prevent fraudulent orders and restrict unwanted users from completing purchases on your store. This guide explains how to block IP addresses using the Fraud Prevention settings in Releasit.

Step 1: Access the User Blocking Settings



Open the Releasit app.
Navigate to the Fraud Prevention section.
Click on User Blocking to manage restricted IP addresses.



Step 2: Add IP Addresses to the Block List



Enter the IP address you want to block.
Save the changes to ensure that orders from this IP address are restricted.

Once added, users from the blocked IP addresses will not be able to place orders through the form.

Step 3: Verify and Adjust the Block List



Periodically review the list of blocked IPs.
Remove or update restrictions as needed to avoid blocking legitimate customers.
