Step 1: Install the Releasit Cash On Delivery App

• To begin, make sure the Releasit Cash On Delivery Fee COD app is installed on your Shopify store. You can find it on the Shopify App Store:

Step 2: Open the "Limit COD" Page in the App

• Once the app is installed, open it from your Shopify admin and navigate to the Limit COD section:

Step 3: Enable the Gift Card Restriction

• In the Limit COD section, locate the option labeled "Hide cash on delivery for gift cards" and activate it:

Step 4: You're Done

• After enabling this setting, COD will automatically be hidden from the Shopify checkout if the customer’s order includes a gift card product.

• This helps ensure that only valid payment methods are shown for gift card purchases, which must typically be paid using prepaid methods (like credit card or PayPal).
