Releasit now allows you to connect COD Form with Releasit COD Fee & Partial Pay so that customers can pay a deposit before completing checkout.

When enabled, the Partial Payment popup will appear when customers click the Shopify Checkout (Prepaid) button inside your COD Form.

Follow this guide to enable and configure the integration.

Step 1 – Open Releasit COD Fee & Partial Pay

• First, open the Releasit COD Fee & Partial Pay app.
• Go to the Partial Payment section.

Step 2 – Make Sure to Enable the App Embed in Your Theme

Inside your store configuration:

• Open Theme Customization
• Enable the App Embed for Releasit COD Fee & Partial Pay

This step is required for the popup to work properly.

• After that, make sure to turn ON the Partial Payment toggle button inside the app.

Step 3 – Open Releasit COD Form

• Now open Releasit COD Form & Upsells.
• Go to: Settings & Integrations → General

Scroll down and enable:

✅ Enable Partial Payment integration with Releasit COD Fee

Step 4 – Check the Integration Status Message

After enabling the integration, you will see a status message:

🟢 Green message → Shopify Checkout (Prepaid) button is visible and integration is ready.

🔴 Red message → Shopify Checkout (Prepaid) button is not visible in your form.

Step 5 – Add the Shopify Checkout Button (If Needed)

If you see a red message:

1. Go to Form Designer
2. Add the Shopify Checkout / Prepaid button

3. Save your changes

Return to Settings & Integrations and confirm the message turns green.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I need both apps installed?

Yes. You must have:

• Releasit COD Form
• Releasit COD Fee & Partial Pay

Both apps must be properly configured.

2. What happens if the Fee app is not installed?

The Shopify Checkout button will work normally and redirect directly to checkout without showing the Partial Payment popup.

3. Why do I see a red message in the integration section?

This means the Shopify Checkout (Prepaid) button is not added or not visible in your form.

Go to Form Designer and add the button.

4. Will this affect my normal COD orders?

No.

If the integration is disabled, your checkout works exactly as before.

5. Can I turn this feature off?

Yes.

You can disable the integration anytime from:

Settings & Integrations → General
