How to Exclude the COD Form for Specific Products or Collections
If you want to restrict Cash on Delivery (COD) as a payment option for certain products or collections in your store, you can do so by adjusting the visibility settings in the Releasit COD Form & Upsells app. This guide explains how to enable this setting and select which products or collections should allow COD.
Open the Releasit app.
Navigate to the Settings & Integrations page.
Click on the Visibility section.

Locate the option to restrict COD for specific products or collections.
Enable this setting to activate product selection.
Once enabled, you can define which products or collections should allow COD orders.
Choose specific products where COD should be available.
Alternatively, select entire collections to limit COD to those product groups.
Save the changes to apply the restriction.
Once configured, COD will only be available for the selected products or collections, while all other products will require prepaid payment methods.
Open your store and try placing a test order.
Ensure that COD is only available for the selected products or collections.
Verify that COD does not appear as an option for restricted products.
If the changes do not reflect immediately, try refreshing the page or clearing your cache.
High-value items – Prevent COD for expensive products that require prepaid payments.
Digital products – COD is not applicable for non-physical items.
Dropshipping restrictions – Some suppliers do not support COD for certain products.
