How to Hide the “Add to Cart” Button on Your Shopify Store Using Releasit

In some cases, you may want to prevent customers from using the standard “Add to Cart” button on your Shopify product pages—particularly if you want to direct all orders through the Releasit Cash on Delivery (COD) form instead.

The Releasit app allows you to disable this button directly from its settings. This article will walk you through how to hide the Add to Cart button on your store using the Visibility settings in Releasit.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Open the Releasit App
Log in to your Shopify admin and open the Releasit COD Form & Upsells app.

Go to the Visibility Settings

In the app dashboard, navigate to:

Settings & Integrations → Visibility






Enable the Option to Hide the Add to Cart Button
Find the option labeled Hide the Add to Cart button on product pages, and switch it on.






Once enabled, the standard Shopify Add to Cart button will no longer be visible on your product pages. Customers will only be able to place orders through the Releasit form.

Notes

This setting is useful for stores using COD as their only payment option or wanting full control over how orders are submitted.
If you later want to re-enable the Add to Cart button, simply return to this setting and switch it off.
