How to Create a Quantity Breaks Offer in Releasit Bundles
Releasit Bundles allows you to create Quantity Breaks offers — tiered discounts that reward customers for buying more. The more units they add, the bigger the discount they unlock.
When enabled, the Quantity Breaks widget appears on your product page, showing customers each pricing tier at a glance so they can choose how many to buy.

Step 1 – Open Releasit Bundles
- Open the Releasit Bundles app from your Shopify admin and go to the Bundles and Quantity Offers section.
- Click Add Offer.
Step 2 – Enter Basic Information
In the Basic Information field, enter a name for this offer.
- This name is internal — your customers won't see it. Use something descriptive, like "Vitamin C – Quantity Breaks".
- Maximum 150 characters.
Step 3 – Select Your Product
- Click Select Products.
- Search for and select the product this offer will apply to.
⚠️ Each Quantity Breaks offer applies to one product. To run tiered discounts on multiple products, create a separate offer for each one.
Step 4 – Choose Offer Type
- Under Choose Offer Type, select Quantity Breaks.
Step 5 – Configure Your Offer
Under Configure Your Offer, set up your pricing tiers:
- For each tier, enter the quantity threshold and the price or discount that applies.
- Add as many tiers as you need — most merchants use 2–3.
Tips:
- Always set Tier 1 as the original full price — this gives customers a clear baseline to compare against.
- Use the Best Deal Badge (configured in Step 6) to highlight the tier you most want customers to pick.

Step 6 – Design & Appearance
Customize how the widget looks on your storefront:
- Theme Selection — Choose one of the 4 available layouts. The Live Preview updates instantly as you make changes.
- Offer Header — The title customers see above the tiers (e.g., "Bundle & Save").
- Savings Badge — Shown automatically on each discounted tier (e.g., "Save 10%").
- Best Deal Badge — Highlights your recommended tier (e.g., "Popular"). Apply to one tier only.
- Footer Settings — Optional trust signals below the tiers (e.g., "Free shipping on 3+").
Click Save when done.
✅ Always check the Live Preview before saving. It shows exactly how the widget will appear on your storefront, including on mobile.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. How many tiers should I create?
Two to three tiers is the most effective range. One tier is just a flat discount — use a Product Bundle instead. More than four tiers can overwhelm customers and reduce conversion.
2. Can I apply Quantity Breaks to a whole collection?
Each offer is set per product. To run Quantity Breaks across a collection, create a separate offer for each product. Bulk creation across collections is coming in a future update.
3. What if a customer adds a quantity that isn't exactly on a tier?
The discount from the nearest qualifying tier below their quantity applies. For example, if your tiers are 2 and 3, and the customer adds 4 items, the 3-tier discount applies.
4. Will this affect my COD Form?
No — and it actually works alongside it. When a customer selects a tier and submits their order through Releasit COD Form, the discounted price carries through to the order automatically.
5. My widget isn't showing on the product page. What should I check?
Confirm the offer is saved and set to Active. Also verify the correct product is selected — each offer applies to one product only.
6. The discount isn't applying at checkout. What's wrong?
Releasit Bundles uses Shopify Functions to apply discounts. Make sure your Shopify plan supports Shopify Functions (Basic plan and above). If the issue persists, contact our support team.
