How to Disable Cash on Delivery (COD) for Specific Products in Your Store
If there are certain products in your Shopify store that you do not want to offer Cash on Delivery (COD) for—such as digital items, high-value goods, or limited stock items—you can easily restrict COD using the Releasit Cash On Delivery app.
This article will guide you step by step on how to disable the COD payment option for specific products.
If you haven’t already, install the app from the Shopify App Store:
👉 Releasit Cash On Delivery COD

Once the app is installed, open it and navigate to the Limit COD page.

In the Limit COD section, enable the option "Hide cash on delivery for one or more products."

Use the product selector to choose which products should not offer the Cash on Delivery option during checkout.

Once your selections are made, the app will automatically apply the restriction. COD will no longer appear as a payment option for those products during checkout.
