This tutorial explains how to display or hide the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment option in your Shopify checkout based on the customer's order total. Using the Releasit Cash On Delivery Fee app, you can define a minimum and/or maximum amount for which COD is allowed.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Install the Releasit Cash On Delivery App

First, ensure the Releasit Cash on Delivery COD app is installed on your store. If not, install it from the Shopify App Store.

Step 2: Access the “Limit COD” Settings

Open the app and navigate to the Limit COD section in the left-hand menu.

Step 3: Enable Order Total Restriction

Locate the setting called “Hide cash on delivery based on the order total” and enable it.

Step 4: Set the Allowed Order Total Range

Use the input fields to define the minimum and/or maximum order total where COD should be shown.

Orders below the minimum total or above the maximum total will not see COD as a payment method during checkout.

Leave one of the fields empty if you only want to restrict the upper or lower limit.

Step 5: You're Done

COD will now appear in the Shopify checkout only for orders that fall within the total amount range you configured.
