Understanding the Types of Upsells in Releasit: 1-Click vs. 1-Tick
Releasit offers two types of upsells to help you offer additional products or services during the ordering process. Each upsell type is designed for a different purpose, and knowing when to use each can help you make better use of the app’s features.
Purpose: Suggest additional products that are different from the one your customer is already buying.
These upsells are displayed in a full-screen popup, either before or after the customer completes their purchase on the form. They’re useful when you want to offer complementary products that require attention and space to present clearly.
Suggesting a bundle or accessory
Recommending related items
Offering a higher-end version of the product
Purpose: Add simple services or small extras directly in the form.
These appear as checkboxes inside the form itself. Customers can add them with a single click (or "tick"), without leaving the form or going through additional steps.
Adding express shipping
Offering gift wrapping
Including a small donation or warranty
Use 1-Click Upsells when you want to offer additional products or higher-value items.
Use 1-Tick Upsells when you want to offer small services or simple add-ons.
